Charles A. Wilson, Chief Executive Officer

Charles A. “Charlie” Wilson brings to DB Technology nearly 30 years experience in software sales, services and operations.  Prior to his November 2008 appointment as CEO, he was president of UC4 Software, a global workload automation company specializing in optimizing customer applications and was responsible for all business in the Americas and the Asia/Pacific area including research and development, sales, services, customer support and finance.  During his tenure, the company experienced quarter over quarter growth for 17 consecutive quarters and increased the average selling price by 200 percent.  Before UC4 Software, Charlie held various executive level positions with IBM Tivoli/Unison Software, Macro 4 and Boole & Babbage where he was responsible for U.S. sales, systems engineers, technical consultants and customer support functions.

Among the responsibilities as CEO are overseeing and directing growth in product development, customer support, implementation, training as well as sales and marketing.  Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pa.

Brett Oberman, Vice President & COO
Brett has served as DB Technology’s VP and COO since co-founding the company in 1983. Since the beginning of DB Technology, Brett has overseen all of the company’s software design, programming and implementation services and was the original inventor of RAS. He has led the development effort that has taken RAS from concept to the leading document management and imaging application that it is today.

Brett is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics and chemistry.

Hank Owen, Vice President of Sales

Hank brings to DB Technology over 20 years experience in software sales and sales management and is responsible for all sales and client relationship initiatives.  He most recently served as senior vice president of sales for UC4 Software where he was responsible for all sales and sales support for the Americas.  Within eight months of his tenure, both revenue and customer base increased over 700 percent while customer retention was maintained at over 98 percent.

Before joining UC4 Software, Hank held sales and sales management positions with Pansophic Systems, Compuware, Parametric Technology and IBM/Tivoli.  He received his Bachelors of Arts in mathematics from the University of Vermont.

Phil Sullivan, Director of Marketing & Technology
Phil leads the efforts of the Marketing and Implementation teams. He has been with DB Technology for over ten years, originally joining the company as an installer\trainer. Phil is responsible for the development and execution of DB Technology’s marketing, technology and social media initiatives.

Before joining DB Technology Phil worked for Wakefern Food Corporation in Edison, NJ. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management science from Kean College.

Angelo LoBue, Controller

Angelo brings over 25 years of experience in the financial and operational arena.  He most recently served as vice president of sales operations for MAC Cosmetics where he created the infrastructure, developed key relationships, implemented policy, procedures and systems resulting in revenue growth from $150 million to $1 billion within seven years.

Angelo also has extensive experience in finance serving as chief financial officer for a non-profit educational organization. This unique combination of financial and operational experience will help DB Technology position itself for rapid growth.

Michelle Garron, Implementation Manager

Michelle has been with DB Technology since 2003. Michelle has extensive experience in healthcare with a thorough understanding of the Revenue Cycle working in Patient Accounts, Medical Records, and IT departments. She is responsible for managing the RAS and RASi installers, trainers, and project managers. She coordinates the successful implementations of all RAS modules and is often the first contact with clients to kickoff the RAS project.

She has received her BS in Health Information Management and Finance from Kean University and her MS in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She also holds the RHIA credential from the American Health Information Management Association.

Paul Rogers, Manager of Support and Client Development
Paul oversees the activities of the DB Technology support and client development departments. Paul originally joined DB Technology over 9 years ago and has a Bachelors degree from the College of New Jersey.

Paul actively participates in the design and implementation of new RAS features and custom RAS add-ins for clients.
