The Challenge

When a patient is admitted, hospital personnel need to manually fax a Notice of Admission form to insurance companies or doctor’s offices. This process, while time consuming, is often an essential first step in receivables management.

The Solution

The RAS Notice of Admission (NOA) solution automates this process by faxing the notice of admission automatically. Once the necessary recipients are entered into the NOA module, the recipient will receive a Notice of Admission fax automatically when the admitting information is received into RAS.

Hospital personnel can view the fax status, date sent, and resubmit Notice of Admission forms to be resent as needed through the RAS NOA interface.

Each Notice of Admission is also stored as a form so it can be easily retrieved.
